Are you Creative?
We are looking for volunteers aged between 18-60 years who are in training or who are working as creative professionals. We are looking for musicians; actors; visual artists; graphic artists; writers; songwriters; inventors and creative thinkers.
Creative volunteers are sought for participation in research on cognitive and temperamental similarities and differences between creativity and affective and psychotic disorder. This is in association with the UNSW Research Unit for Schizophrenia Epidemiology, St Vincent’s Hospital, Darlinghurst.
The research entails individual participation in a 1.5 hour session. This session will involve
- pen and paper questionnaires to assess aspects of your personality along with
- two computer based measures and
- one assessment which involves listening to different sounds
Volunteers must be proficient in English, and will be given two movie tickets as an expression of appreciation for you time and willingness to participate in the study.
At this stage, we are particularly seeking volunteers aged between 18-60 years who do not have a personal history of mental illness.
